A phrase is a fixed snippet of text you can reuse in your notes - for example a standard wording for a recurring situation. Phrases exist at two levels: those the clinic shares, and those you make yourself.
Create your own phrases
You create your personal phrases under User settings → Standard phrases. Here you add the wordings you use often, so they are right at hand when you write. Your own phrases are yours - they are not shared with the rest of the clinic.
The clinic's shared phrases
The clinic can have a shared library of standard phrases that all users have access to. The ones you do not use, you can turn off for yourself - in the same place, under User settings. That way you only see the phrases that make sense for you.
When is it useful?
Phrases save time on what repeats - fixed advice, standard wordings and text you would otherwise write again and again. The more of it you add as phrases, the less you type.
